Abstract:

The problem of social housing is undertaken in most countries in the world. Demand for social housing continues to increase. This demonstrates the importance of the social problem which the spatial aspects are the subject of this article. It define basic notions related with discussed topic. It presents different directions of evolution of architecture of social housing. Analysis of selected examples, representing various modern trends in the design of this type of housing shows that external factors and the location of the facilities contribute to the functioning and objectives, which have a decisive influence on the acceptance in society.
